I’m the Head of the Academy and, not to brag, but I’ve pretty much worn every hat in this organisation. From its humble beginnings in 2013, my business partner and I have rolled up our sleeves to handle everything – from teaching and admin to managing and sales. You name it, we’ve done it! Now, if you peeked at my typical day, you’d find me mostly glued to the computer, chatting away with folks. My calendar? A mosaic of back-to-back meetings. But here’s the cool part: I’m always there for anyone and everyone in the organisation, from our team to our enthusiastic learners. Need me? Just give a shout, and I’m on it. Working together and being there for each other is how we roll!

When one asks about my standout highlight from my time at the organisation, the answer's a no-brainer: it's the brilliant minds I have the pleasure to work alongside! Truth be told, they're a dab hand at problem-solving, often outshining even me. They truly are the backbone of our esteemed organisation. I mean, what's more splendid than collaborating with such a top-notch crew? But the cherry on the cake? The sheer joy of witnessing the transformative impact we make. Our courses not only enlighten but also pave pathways to employment. It's a source of immense pride, knowing we're opening doors for many to stride into their desired professions. And, blimey, the innovation! We're forever on our toes – concocting fresh teaching techniques, delving into the latest trends, and pondering what would tickle the fancy of our learners. With such exhilarating endeavours on the daily, it's safe to say there's nary a dull moment around here!

So, what do I bring to the jamboree at work? Well, first off, my IT prowess is something many have tipped their hats to. And what's IT, you ask? Simply put, it's the art of refining everything. Spot a recurring task? Then it's high time it's spruced up! While I do have a handful of management tricks up my sleeve, I'll admit, there's a vast ocean out there I've yet to sail. The quest for knowledge never ceases. Every day offers a fresh page to learn, and by Jove, I'm all in! Not just for myself, but I'm also keen on sprinkling that zest for learning onto everyone I meet. Ah, and teaching! A true passion of mine, that. To borrow words of wisdom from a mentor of mine, "Any teacher can guide a star pupil, but it takes a truly top-tier educator to mould a struggling student into a shining one." And that, my friend, sums up my ethos beautifully!

Well, when the work shoes come off, the adventure boots are on! I'm quite the family lass, you see. Together with my brood, we're always off on some escapade, delving deep into forests and pedalling our way through scenic trails. Paddle boarding? We adore it, though truth be told, I've had my fair share of wobbly moments! Cycling is our go-to way to explore nature's wonders, feeling the embrace of the great outdoors. And, my young footballer – my pride and joy! Saturdays find me in the role of personal chauffeur, shuttling him from one activity to the next, be it club matches, mates' homes, school projects, or even birthday parties. Sunday? That's market day! We love scouring for unique finds and canny bargains. And amidst all this, there's no greater joy than a chinwag with my cherished group of friends. A sprinkle of laughter, bonding, and creating memories, that's the life!
