Antoinette.
Tutor -Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapy
What makes me, me?
I enjoy spreading the word of complementary/beauty therapy through teaching and celebrating my knowledge that I have gained throughout the years (there has been many years….). I love all types of body and facial massage theories and the effects they have on your health and wellbeing…
Tell me about your role at CPBA. What does a typical day look like for you?
I am a level 2 beauty and level 3 massage therapy tutor; a typical day would consist of organising lessons, demonstrating practical treatments, monitoring participating students, marking students’ homework, assessing practical treatments and portfolio work.
What's the standout highlight of your experience working at CPBA?
Working for CPBA has developed my organisational skills and given me clarity and comprehension of the massage therapy and beauty therapy courses.
What skills do you bring to the table in your job?
I bring extensive knowledge and industry experience in complementary therapy, beauty, and education. I have worked for many years in salons, spas and running my own massage business. I enjoy sharing my work history with my learners.
When you're not working, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy most?
I have recently become a grandmother, and enjoy looking after my 8 month old grandson Joel. At present I am obsessed, with crystal stones; I do read a lot about the different types of crystal stones and the effects they have on the human body. I try to exercise four times a week, this includes walking and Pilates.
