Who Is Kayleigh Graham?
Kayleigh came up with Lily England back in 2015 and made it her side job. However, she and her husband Jamie had to ditch their full-time jobs once their business started to grow.
Kayleigh knew that she wanted to do something in the beauty industry, but she had no idea that she was going to blow-up as much as she did. Before she used to work in fashion firms such as Selfridges and Burberry, where it became crystal clear to her that the beauty business is her best choice. Why? Well, it is a fast-growing multi-billion industry, and she felt like she could contribute in her own way.
What Was Her Vision?
She explained her vision to many journalists in several interviews that she wanted to give her brand an Instagrammable makeover, where she’ll combine functionally along with beauty. One of her best designs was a detangling brush which won her customer over since it was so practical. Not only that it was a handy brush, but it could effectively remove the knots from every hair type while looking super stylish in a rose-gold color. Once that brush took of she also made an ombre version, silver, and beautiful marble design.

Kayleigh used to work as a social media consultant which gave her the much-needed knowledge on how to start-up her own business.
She knew that she wanted to approach the brand and the job modestly, but securely. Therefore she ordered only 500 units of her well-known detangling brushes. She also used a good portion from hers & her husband’s savings to make this process happen. At first, she sold her brushes only on Amazon. Plenty of her friends & family members were skeptical, but she felt the need to prove them wrong. Later on she created her website and has been successfully running it ever since.
Beauty business is Challenging
Kayleigh says learning how to run an e-commerce business was challenging. Not only that but trying to learn all about grips with products as well as how to deal with suppliers was demanding since you have to rely on multiple people. She gradually built her collection and her line of products by reinvesting profits into some other new items. In time she created makeup brushes as well as beauty tools which were all cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.
Lily England now offers a range of make-up brushes and bags, as well as beauty tools. One of her must-have items is her lash curler, and her packaging and sense of style for all of her items is remarkable.
